Blondie is only about 8 weeks old, and has two siblings who are still at large but we are hoping to bring them in soon! We thought Blondie was very shy at first, but he opened up so quickly in a foster! He just needs a little time to get to know you, but before you know it he'll be weaving in and out of your legs, and of course purring up a storm! Blondie has been exposed to young kids and dogs; although he'd prefer calmer dogs, he would do fine in most homes given time to adjust. Our beautiful Stormy has spent a good part of her life outside, and we just don't know how such a friendly cat found herself in that position in the first place! We believe Stormy is about 6 years old and has been hanging out in an apartment complex for nearly that long.

These friendly 1 year old brothers came from an overcrowded shelter in NY, so while we don't have any history on them, we found out immediately how friendly they are! Have you ever seen a dog as handsome as our Blaze? Believe it or not, this handsome boy is only 7 months old, and he's looking for his forever home! Blaze was sadly part of a hoarding case where there were over 30 dogs in the home.
The shelter now has the capacity to safely and responsibly place over 800 animals each year. Each animal is fully vetted, spayed or neutered, vaccinated and microchipped prior to leaving for their adoptive home. Our shelter personnel work hard to match each adoptive family with the perfect animal to become their lifelong pet. As the years went by, the maintenance of the facility was becoming more and more difficult. It was decided to tear down the entire shelter and rebuild it. A large fund drive and challenge grant funded the project, and the shelter was rebuilt in 2012.
